Korea TV Home Shopping Association names Lim Kwang-gi as new chairman
Lim Kwang-gi (임광기), a former SBS editorial writer, has been appointed as the new chairman of the Korea TV Home Shopping Association. The association said on April 27 it finalised the appointment through resolutions by its board of directors and general meeting. Lim\'s term runs for three years from May 6. He previously served in several roles at SBS and later led the National Assembly Broadcasting station for three years from 2019.

KT Skylife to provide AI \'Capture\' broadcast for Korea Journalists Association Seoul soccer tournament
KT Skylife said on Wednesday it will broadcast all matches of the 52nd Korea Journalists Association Seoul regional soccer tournament using its AI-based sports analysis solution, Capture. The platform uses an AI camera to automatically track player movement and the ball’s trajectory, automating filming, editing and transmission. KT Skylife previously broadcast the 51st tournament after signing an agreement with the association.

KT Skylife\'s AI broadcasting solution \'Pochak\' expands into pro sports
KT Skylife\'s AI sports broadcasting solution Pochak is gaining traction as it secures multiple installation cases and expands into professional sports. KT Wiz\'s second team and KT Sonicboom adopted it in July 2025, while football venues in Yongin installed the system in March 2026. Paju Frontier FC and the Lotte Giants\' second team are using it this season under paid contracts. The company says automated filming, editing and transmission can cut costs by up to 90 percent.
