KOCCA to support AI transition in game production environments with up to 50 million won
The Korea Creative Content Agency will work with industry groups to support an artificial intelligence transition in South Korea\'s game industry by subsidising tool subscription fees. The Culture Ministry and KOCCA signed agreements with four associations to run the programme. Applications will be accepted from May 18 to 27. Support ranges by company size, topping out at 50 million won. Selected firms can receive 100 percent support for domestic tools and 90 percent for overseas tools.

Korea Game Industry Association discusses mutual growth with Chungcheong game groups and companies
The Korea Game Industry Association said on Tuesday it held a meeting at the Daejeon Information & Culture Industry Promotion Agency with game-related organisations and companies from the Chungcheong region to discuss cooperation measures for the game industry\'s mutual growth. The meeting was arranged to share views from the industrial field and draw up cooperative tasks. Participants discussed fostering competitive game talent, expanding tailored production support by growth stage, commercialization and building investment-linked systems.

Korea Game Industry Association signs MOU with Youth Foundation to train game, esports talent
The Korea Game Industry Association signed a memorandum of understanding with the Youth Foundation on March 16 to cooperate on mutual growth between young people and the game and esports industry and to foster talent. The partnership aims to address mismatches between industry demand for talent and youth job seekers as interest in entering the sector rises. The two sides plan joint programmes, training and entry support, and a sustainable cooperation framework.
