Wemade ends Mir IP dispute with Kingnet, receives 43 billion won settlement

Wemade said on April 29 it has ended a dispute with China’s Kingnet over unpaid royalties related to the intellectual property of The Legend of Mir 2 through a settlement agreement. Wemade said it received about 43 billion won in settlement money from Kingnet. The company agreed to withdraw related arbitration and litigation procedures underway in South Korea, China and Singapore to reduce risks from a prolonged dispute and pursue its IP business stably.

Mgame signs $10 million China service extension deal for Yulgang Online

Mgame has signed a contract extension with Chinese partner Beijing Hoolai Jingwei for the China service of its MMORPG Yulgang Online. The three-year deal runs from March 2026 to March 2029 and is valued at $10 million. The companies have signed nine agreements since the service began in 2005, maintaining a partnership for more than 20 years. Mgame said it will focus on stable operations and enhancing IP value.
