KT offers Genie TV prize events and special content for Family Month
KT said on April 28 it has prepared content and promotions for Genie TV IPTV customers to mark May, designated as Family Month. It will offer a 3,000 won VOD coupon to all customers who buy the ownership VOD of the film \"The Man Who Lives with the King\" and will award 60 travel prizes by lottery. It will also run prize draws tied to Disney-Pixar animation \"Hoppers\" and the drama \"Scarecrow\", plus family programming and subscription discounts.

KT\'s Kidsland \'Imagination Prohibited!\' project wins Bologna Ragazzi Award special mention
KT said on Tuesday that \'Imagination Prohibited!\', a picture-book project planned by its infant and children-focused IPTV service Genie TV Kidsland, won a \'special mention\' in the crossmedia category at the 2026 Bologna Ragazzi Awards. The project expands imaginary animals drawn by children into a paper book, e-book, animation and media art. The animation and book are due to be exhibited at the Bologna International Children\'s Book Fair from April 13 to 16.

KT to run Genie TV Lunar New Year special section, offer prizes to 2,026 people
KT said it will run a Genie TV Lunar New Year special section from Feb. 13 to 22 under the slogan, “Everything you want to watch is on Genie TV.” Viewers can watch 20 recent films, and 400 buyers of “Zootopia 2” will receive limited-edition goods. KT will also hold a prize event from Feb. 12 to 19 for VOD purchasers and run Kidsland promotions offering free access to about 1,500 titles.
