Kakao VX to expand screen golf food and beverage business with Ourhome
Kakao VX said on Thursday it signed a business agreement with Ourhome to boost food and beverage operations at its screen golf venues. Under the deal, Ourhome products will be supplied from May through a dedicated food and beverage section on Kakao VX’s franchisee shopping platform, VX Mall. The companies will cooperate on business development, marketing, solution design, ordering and supply processes, and operational communication. They also plan joint promotions through regular consultations.

Kakao VX launches Kakao Golf Reservation web service to boost accessibility
Kakao VX said on March 18 it has launched a web service for its Kakao Golf Reservation platform. The service, introduced in 2019, has been focused on app-based reservations. Kakao VX said the growing use of AI services has increased the need for a more open search system tailored to different device environments. It said the web version lets golfers check real-time course information and available booking times via mobile or PC.

Kakao VX switches to co-CEO system with Moon Tae-sik and Kim Chang-joon
Kakao VX said on Thursday it will start management under a co-chief executive system to respond actively to AI transformation. Co-CEO Moon Tae-sik will focus on upgrading the Kakao Golf Booking platform, the Friends Screen business and services, and companywide development work to secure growth drivers. New co-CEO Kim Chang-joon, formerly an IT executive at Daum Communications, Kakao and Kakao Enterprise, will oversee business, infrastructure and support organisations.
