Kakao VX said on Thursday it signed a business agreement with Ourhome to revitalise food and beverage operations at its screen golf venues.
The signing ceremony, held on April 9 at Ourhome’s headquarters, was attended by Choi Kwang-ok (최광옥), a director in charge of Kakao VX’s golf business; Shin Soo-jin (신수진), head of Ourhome’s product business division; and Jeon Jun-beom (전준범), head of Ourhome’s marketing division.
Under the agreement, from May Ourhome will supply its food and beverage products to a dedicated food and beverage section within Kakao VX’s in-house online mall for franchisees, VX Mall.
The companies agreed to cooperate across business development and promotion, solution design and provision, ordering and supply processes, and overall operational communication.
Kakao VX will handle franchisee recruitment and marketing based on its experience operating screen golf businesses. Ourhome will be responsible for tailored food and beverage solutions for screen golf venues. It will propose standard and simplified menus suited to cooking conditions and support on-site menu operations. The companies will pursue joint promotions through regular consultations.
A Kakao VX official said it plans to develop its food and beverage business based on experience accumulated by connecting screen golf venues and franchisees. The official said it will develop the partnership into a cooperation model that can improve operational convenience and satisfaction for franchisees.
An Ourhome official said the agreement is a move to expand a food and beverage business model tailored to screen golf venues as stay-type leisure spaces. The official said it will strengthen its food and beverage solutions based on menu development capabilities and supply capacity.
