Kakao to soft launch first integrated membership on Oct 1 with first-come sign-ups
Kakao will introduce its first integrated membership next month, bundling benefits across services such as emoticons, Melon, Kakao Pay and Kakao Pay Securities. The Kakao Membership will begin as a soft launch on Oct. 1. Kakao will cap early sign-ups on a first-come basis to stabilise the service and then expand access in stages. From Sept. 21, users can apply for launch notifications through KakaoTalk.
