KT Studio Genie will run a pop-up store at Musinsa Store Seongsu from Aug. 15 to 31 ahead of the broadcast of the drama \'New Recruit 4: Sabotage,\' it said on Monday. The pop-up will feature a recreated military barracks living space, a photo zone and interactive content. It will also sell official goods, including military-supply-themed clothing and daily items and the character \'Jjamsaeng.\'

KT CEO Park Yoon-young (박윤영) said there has been no decision on integrating the company’s media affiliates, despite considering various options as circumstances change. He also said KT has not received any official request regarding a merger between Tving and Wavve, adding that any future request would be reviewed in light of market conditions and company interests. Park also outlined a “physical AI” plan and commented on an ongoing tax probe.
