Baek Kyung-hoon attends KOFST 60th anniversary ceremony, encourages scientists
Deputy Prime Minister Baek Kyung-hoon (배경훈), who also serves as science and ICT minister, attended the 60th anniversary ceremony of the Korean Federation of Science and Technology Societies on Sept. 30 and thanked scientists and engineers for their dedication. About 500 people, including National Assembly Science, ICT, Broadcasting and Communications Committee Chairman Song Ki-heon, joined the event. Participants discussed a people-centered future vision, KOFST’s new role and direction, and held talks on shifts in AI, bio and quantum fields.
