AI agent use expands as science ministry holds work innovation workshop

South Korea’s Ministry of Science and ICT held a workshop on April 30 to speed internal work innovation using artificial intelligence agents. The ministry said the event aimed to help staff directly learn the technology to improve efficiency and raise the completeness of policy work. Participants practiced developing administrative services, heard a case study on automation using vibe coding and joined hands-on training with IT YouTuber JoCoding.

OpenAI to hold AI hackathon finals in Seoul with JoCoding and Primer

OpenAI said on March 3 it will hold the finals of an \"AI hackathon\" in Seoul on March 7 with developer YouTuber JoCoding and startup accelerator Primer. The preliminary round ran from Feb. 7 to 20 and drew 3,295 participants, including developers and prospective founders. Thirty teams will compete in the finals. Participants will use the OpenAI API and Codex to develop and launch working AI-based services and products.
