Oracle releases Java 27, adds performance and security updates
Oracle said on Tuesday it has released Java 27, the latest version of the Java programming language and development platform. The company said the release includes thousands of improvements across performance, stability, security and productivity. Java 27 enhances post-quantum cryptography capabilities through hybrid key exchange for TLS 1.3 to support more secure communications. Oracle also introduced early access for JDK 28 and announced related updates across the Java ecosystem and its Oracle Java Verified Portfolio.
