Vibe manufacturing, a method of using AI to design hardware and produce it via manufacturers or home 3D printers, is emerging as a new trend, Business Insider reported. A U.S. developer said a chatbot designed a steel part in minutes and placed an order for $156. An open-source text-to-CAD tool has gained traction on GitHub. Users also described making a brain model and designing a children’s toy, while noting limits and costly trial and error.
