Hancom Innostream unveils Hancom AX Lab AI, AX training brand at SLW 2026
Hancom Innostream, a subsidiary of Hancom, introduced its AI and AX training brand Hancom AX Lab at Smart Life Week 2026 held at Seoul’s COEX. The company also set up a Hancom AX Lab showroom in the COEX Hall A Yangjae and Suseo Physical AI Zone. The showroom demonstrates industrial robot operations and presents training content using Nvidia’s robot simulation platform Isaac Sim.

Jeonbuk physical AI pilot lab tests autonomous factory operations
Jeonbuk National University is testing technology that adds autonomous judgement to automated factories at its Physical AI Manufacturing Technology Pilot Lab in Jeonju. The 846-square-metre facility links robot arms, autonomous mobile robots, sensors and machine tools to share production plans and detect abnormalities. It can recommend responses, with plans to develop technology to directly adjust equipment and optimise multiple processes. The programme will expand through 2030 with central government funding.

AWS expands push into physical AI, builds operations base linking cloud and edge
As physical AI expands into robots, industrial equipment, cameras and autonomous mobile robots, Amazon Web Services is moving to build an operating system that links the cloud and the edge. It unveiled a cloud-edge integrated solution last month for customers developing physical AI systems. AWS said key challenges include data and simulation, latency and post-deployment operations. Partners are building augmented data pipelines and AWS is offering cloud infrastructure, data services and edge management tools.
