South Korea science Olympiad team of 43 holds send-off ceremony ahead of July competitions
South Korea\'s Ministry of Science and ICT and the Korea Foundation for the Advancement of Science and Creativity held a send-off ceremony on Tuesday for the national team for the 2026 International Science Olympiad. The event drew about 200 people, including 43 team members and officials from nine subject committees. The team was selected after 14 months of competition from about 8,000 participants. The team will begin competing on July 4 in Bucaramanga, Colombia.
