Netflix to livestream BTS concert using own infrastructure, traffic capacity in focus
Netflix will exclusively livestream BTS\' fifth full-length album \'Arirang\' release concert from Seoul\'s Gwanghwamun Square at 8 p.m. on March 21 to more than 190 countries. Concerns persist over Open Connect\'s vulnerability to spikes in live traffic, after overload during a 2024 boxing livestream. Industry sources also cite friction with domestic ISPs over network expansion costs and responsibilities.
