China\'s LLM startup Moonshot AI raises additional $500 million to expand AI infrastructure
China\'s AI startup Moonshot AI has raised an additional $500 million, SiliconANGLE reported on Wednesday. The Series C round included a $150 million investment from IDG Capital, with existing backers Alibaba Group and Tencent also taking part. The investment increased Moonshot AI\'s valuation to $4.3 billion. The company is prioritising expansion of AI computing infrastructure, the report said. Its Kimi K2 Thinking model drew attention after its launch last November.
