IBM partners with OpenAI to expand enterprise AI business
IBM is expanding its enterprise AI business through a partnership with OpenAI to provide OpenAI models and tools to corporate customers. Financial terms were not disclosed. The companies plan to jointly market AI products and develop industry-specific solutions focused on financial services, government, telecommunications and retail. IBM will create a dedicated OpenAI unit within IBM Consulting and train and certify tens of thousands of consultants. It will also integrate OpenAI models into its IBM Consulting Advantage platform.
