KT unveils AI media solutions at IBC 2026, steps up push into overseas markets
KT showcased AI agents and AI content production solutions at IBC 2026 in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, as it moved to expand overseas business. The company said it unveiled AI-based next-generation media solutions and discussed cooperation with global operators. KT introduced an AI agent for conversational media search and recommendations, on-device AI running on set-top boxes, and an AI Content Studio featuring RE:Script and Shotpy. It also presented UMS and RMS tools for pay-TV operators.

KT partners with Amlogic on media chipset supply chain and AI upgrades
KT said it will work with global fabless company Amlogic to build a stable supply chain for key chipsets used in media devices. KT said it signed a memorandum of understanding with Amlogic at IBC 2026 in Amsterdam. The two will seek ways to improve supply chain operating efficiency and cooperate on SoC supply as well as upgrades to AI functions and services. KT also plans to run joint exhibition pavilions with partners at overseas trade shows.

KT to join ISE Expo 2026 for first time to help partners expand into North America
KT will take part for the first time in ISE Expo 2026, an ICT infrastructure exhibition in Nashville, Tennessee, to help domestic partner companies enter the North American market. KT will set up a dedicated pavilion and present products and technologies from six partners across telecom and AI. It will promote participating firms to local buyers through KOTRA, buyKOREA and social media, and provide training to strengthen global business capabilities.
