KOSPI rebounds above 8,000 after one day, buy sidecar triggered
South Korea\'s KOSPI recovered above the 8,000 mark a day after a sharp fall, ending up 440.25 points, or 5.76 percent, at 8,088.34. The Korea Exchange triggered a buy sidecar in the main board market after mini KOSPI200 futures rose 5.10 percent. Institutions were net buyers, while individuals and foreigners sold. The won strengthened against the dollar.

KB Kookmin Bank runs cooperative open store in Jeonju
KB Kookmin Bank will run a cooperative \"open store\" in Jeonju to help expand sales channels for local small merchants and boost the regional economy. The bank will operate the event with Hyundai Department Store and the National Pension Service from July 6 to 9 at the NPS Happiness Pension Hall in Jeonju, North Jeolla Province. The bank will cover operating costs, while partners provide brands, space and promotion. Consulting booths and seminars are also scheduled.

KAIST develops active aerodynamics technology for EVs to improve braking and cornering
Researchers at the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) have developed active aerodynamics technology that adjusts airflow around a vehicle in real time to improve performance and safety for high-performance electric vehicles. KAIST said the team built a multi active aerodynamics system integrating several front and rear devices, backed by Hyundai Motor support, and validated it on an actual vehicle. Tests at a circuit confirmed shorter lap times, better braking and cornering, and improved stability.
