He said technology is tightly connected and competition with partners is unavoidable, adding AWS has maintained a principle of not giving itself an unfair advantage.

AWS CEO says claims Claude Code will replace enterprise software are exaggerated
Amazon Web Services CEO Matt Garman (맷 가먼) has brushed aside the view that Anthropic’s Claude Code threatens established enterprise software companies. Speaking at the HumanX conference in San Francisco, he called claims that Claude Code can replace Salesforce-like customer relationship management software “exaggerated.” He said incumbent software firms have deep domain knowledge, large customer bases and extensive data. He warned companies that try to protect existing business and avoid embracing AI could be at risk.
