AI era firms cannot outsource learning, Nadella says
Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella (사티아 나델라) says the core of competitiveness in the AI era is building a loop in which people and AI learn together, rather than simply choosing the right model. He says companies must grow human capital and AI capabilities they build and own. Firms can hand tasks or even roles to AI, he says, but cannot hand over learning. He also warns against a few AI models monopolising industrial knowledge.

Woori Financial Group picked for top 10 percent in S&P Global sustainability assessment
Woori Financial Group said on Tuesday it was selected as a top 10 percent company in S&P Global’s Corporate Sustainability Assessment. The assessment evaluates financial and ESG performance of major companies worldwide to decide which firms are included in a Sustainability Yearbook. This year, about 9,200 companies across 59 industries were assessed, and 848 were included in the yearbook. Woori ranked in the top 10 percent in the banking industry group.

Daishin Securities to cancel 15.35 million treasury shares, pay tax-exempt dividend
Daishin Securities said it will boost shareholder returns by cancelling 15.35 million treasury shares and paying its first tax-exempt dividend. The company plans to cancel 9.32 million common shares and all 6.03 million preferred shares, carrying out the process at quarter-end over 6 quarters. It will use 3 million remaining treasury shares for human capital investment, including employee bonuses through 2029 and allocations to its ESOP through 2030.
