Amazon\'s Leo is still too early; realistic alternatives to challenge Starlink emerge
Alternatives to Starlink are emerging in the satellite internet market, but consumers should compare more than monthly fees, including service availability by address, total first-year costs, latency and data policies. Starlink offers U.S. residential service from $55 a month and has low latency. T-Mobile’s 5G Home Internet is cited as a practical option where available. Viasat and HughesNet remain options in rural areas despite higher latency, while Amazon’s Leo is not yet a direct substitute.
