AI-driven security strategy sees generational shift as priorities change
Growing concern over cyberattacks that misuse advanced AI models is prompting calls for companies to reset security priorities. With AI able to find software vulnerabilities faster, the focus is shifting to minimising exposure time and adopting zero-trust approaches to contain spread even after a breach. Anthropic and Cloudflare warn that faster patching must be balanced with validation and testing. Governments and firms are also expanding AI-driven security programmes, partnerships and investments.

Mythos emerges as AI-driven mobile app attacks surge
Security firms are publishing early experiences of Anthropic’s AI model Mythos, which was first shared on a limited basis with some companies, with Cloudflare standing out. Cloudflare said Mythos is a tool on a different level from earlier general-purpose frontier models, citing attack-chain building and proof generation. Separately, Anthropic is allowing Mythos users to share cyber threat information with other companies exposed to similar vulnerabilities.

HancomWITH joins zero trust pilot to support identity and data domains
HancomWITH said it will join the 2026 zero trust adoption pilot project jointly promoted by the Ministry of Science and ICT and the Korea Internet & Security Agency, forming a consortium with Amjin, SK Broadband, Basestone and DST International. The consortium plans to propose a SASE-based zero trust model for high-risk global work environments and apply it at HanaTour to verify effectiveness. HancomWITH will support the identity and data domains, including AI-based continuous authentication and PQC-based data encryption.
