Hana Financial to support independence for out-of-school youth

Hana Financial Group said on March 22 it signed a memorandum of understanding with the Federation of Korean Industries, the Korea Youth Counseling & Welfare Institute and the Korea Educational Broadcasting System. It plans to 추진 a social contribution project, \"Youth Bridge\", to support independence and a fresh start for out-of-school youth. The partners will build an integrated support system, linking education, counselling and career guidance, while Hana Financial runs finance-related and field-based programmes including financial education and illegal gambling prevention.

ISS recommends votes in favour of all Hana Financial agenda items

Institutional Shareholder Services has recommended votes in favour of all agenda items at Hana Financial Group\'s 2026 annual general meeting, including outside and inside director appointments, charter changes and approval of directors\' pay. The recommendation is seen as reflecting Hana Financial\'s efforts to improve governance and expand shareholder communication. The Supreme Court\'s January ruling confirming Chairman Ham Young-joo\'s acquittal was also cited as a factor.

Hana Financial launches financial consumer protection charter

Hana Financial Group on Wednesday held a launch ceremony for a financial consumer protection charter and said it would upgrade its management system to carry out consumer protection across the group. The event was attended by Chairman Ham Young-joo (함영주), affiliate CEOs, CCOs and employees. The charter includes five core tasks such as a prevention-focused system, putting consumer interests first, swift and fair complaint resolution, transparent communication and expanded support and financial education.
