Grepp wins ISMS-P certification
Online testing platform company Grepp said on Tuesday it has obtained South Korea’s Information Security Management System and Personal Information Protection Management System (ISMS-P) certification. Grepp said the certification objectively proves its data management capabilities and the strength of its personal information protection system. Chinese AI firms step up push as Korea sovereign foundation model drive enters new phase
Chinese tech firms are accelerating expansion in the AI market, with Baidu’s Ernie Assistant topping 200 million monthly active users and Kuaishou’s Kling AI reporting 12 million users and more than $20 million in monthly revenue. Alibaba unveiled a major update to its Qwen app. Startups also pressed ahead, including DeepSeek and Moonshot AI. In South Korea, a government-led foundation model project advanced three teams to the next stage and plans an additional selection.

Grepp launches AI Assist to assess developers\' AI collaboration skills
Grepp said on Jan. 15 it has launched AI Assist, a tool designed to directly evaluate developers’ ability to collaborate with AI during coding tests. The company said it built the service to reflect workplace use of tools such as ChatGPT and GitHub Copilot and to narrow the gap between real development work and hiring assessments. AI Assist provides a standardised AI environment and lets employers analyse prompts, responses and other detailed usage data.
