AI-based online testing company Grepp said on July 28 it was selected for the second round of the 2026 Innovation Premier 1000 programme jointly run by 14 ministries including the Ministry of SMEs and Startups.
Selected companies will receive tailored financial and non-financial support through the end of 2027, including preferential loan rates, higher guarantee ratios, IR opportunities and professional management consulting. They will also be issued an Innovation Premier certificate by the relevant ministry and receive preferential benefits for ministry support programmes.
Grepp plans to use the policy financing support to upgrade its AI skills assessment technology and broaden its applications to education, certification and the public sector, as well as overseas markets.
Grepp CEO Sung-soo Lim (임성수) said the Innovation Premier 1000 selection was a meaningful achievement that recognised the company's AI-based skills assessment technology and growth potential. He said it would continue to enhance evaluation standards that precisely diagnose work processes using data to boost reliability in hiring and improve the accuracy of talent verification.
