Nio F2 plant named global lighthouse factory for AI-controlled production
Nio’s F2 plant has been added to the World Economic Forum’s Global Lighthouse Network of factories recognised for manufacturing innovation, Cleantechnica reported. The WEF said Nio linked in-vehicle AI, a battery-swap network and a digital twin platform into a real-time closed-loop system designed to manage more than 3.6 million vehicle combinations. Nio cut time to launch by 44 percent and automated 90 percent of R&D work, it said.

Naver shareholders\' meeting turns into complaints over share price
Naver held its 27th annual shareholders\' meeting on March 23 at its Green Factory headquarters in Seongnam, south of Seoul, approving all five agenda items as proposed. Although the company confirmed record results, shareholders focused on the weak share price and questioned the level of shareholder returns. CEO Choi Soo-yeon outlined 2025 revenue and profit growth and a new three-year return policy, while investors also raised questions about a Dunamu combination, robotics and sovereign AI.

Naver Webtoon launches second cohort of Cutts
Naver Webtoon said on March 4 it held a meeting for creators of its short-form animation user-generated content service, Cutts, at its Green Factory headquarters the previous day. About 40 creators attended the second Cutts Creators Day. The company introduced the service’s direction and creator support programmes and shared production experiences. The second cohort will run for three months through May and receive total rewards worth 50 million won.
