APR steps up U.S. offline retail expansion
APR said its beauty brand MediCube is expanding offline distribution in North America by rolling out to Target and Walmart in the United States. The company completed placement in more than 1,500 Target stores in April and plans to expand to about 3,000 Walmart stores in June. MediCube will operate dedicated displays carrying key items. APR said MediCube’s sales rose about 30 percent within three months of joining Ulta Beauty, and demand has stayed strong online.

Altcoin interest hits lowest since 2023, seen as rally signal
Interest in altcoins in the cryptocurrency market has dropped to its lowest level in 2 years, Cointelegraph reported. Santiment said social-media mentions of altcoins have plunged as investors increasingly focus on bitcoin, but argued the extreme decline in attention could be a signal of an altcoin rally. CoinMarketCap’s altcoin season index stood at 34 out of 100. Total crypto market value has fallen 43 percent since October.

‘What is Bitcoin?’ searches hit record high
As the cryptocurrency market undergoes a prolonged correction, Google Trends data show a different pattern from price charts. Searches for extreme negative phrases such as “Bitcoin is dead” and “Bitcoin to zero” have jumped to record levels, with some analysts saying they exceed past bear markets and the COVID-19 shock period. At the same time, searches for “What is Bitcoin?” have hit an all-time high, suggesting growing interest from potential newcomers.
