KakaoGames to buy control of Me2on in 98 billion won deal
KakaoGames will acquire global casual game company Me2on for about 98 billion won. KakaoGames said its board decided to buy a 39.56 percent stake in Me2on, which would make it the largest shareholder and secure management control once the transaction is completed. The deal is KakaoGames\' first merger and acquisition since it shifted to a new management structure. Me2on operates in Asia, North America and Europe and earns more than 80 percent of revenue overseas.
