Generative AI Startup Association to hold Korea-Japan AI startup meetup day in Tokyo

The Generative AI Startup Association will hold a Korea-Japan AI Startup Meetup Day on Jan. 20 at Tokyo Innovation Base in Tokyo, with 8 AI startups participating. Backed by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, the event is co-hosted with the Korea SMEs and Startups Agency’s Tokyo office and Japan’s Z Venture Capital. Speakers will address AI transformation and startup roles, and SnapTag will present its K-Safe public API project.

Generative AI Startup Association to offer K-Safe open API free to expand AI transparency

South Korea\'s Generative AI Startup Association said it will provide its K-Safe open API service free to domestic AI companies from Jan. 15, ahead of the AI Basic Act taking effect on Jan. 22. The service, supported by member company Snaptag, aims to help verify provenance and reliability of generative AI content. The association plans a beta launch in January and a full free rollout from April for all domestic AI firms and content platforms, while pursuing a paid enterprise model globally.
