JetBrains says ROI-proof pressure in cloud shifts will repeat for AI agents
JetBrains has unveiled JetBrains Central, an AI coding agent governance and execution platform. A JetBrains executive said proving the business value of AI is difficult and that pressure to demonstrate ROI, similar to cloud migrations, will recur with agent AI. A JetBrains survey of 11,000 developers found 90 percent already use AI at work and 66 percent of companies plan to adopt coding agents within 12 months.

‘Comment and Control’ attack can hack Claude Code, Gemini CLI and GitHub Copilot at once
A security engineer disclosed a prompt injection technique dubbed “Comment and Control” that can attack Anthropic’s Claude Code, Google’s Gemini CLI and GitHub Copilot Agent at the same time, SecurityWeek reported. The method manipulates common GitHub content such as comments, PR titles and issue bodies to trick AI agents into running attacker-chosen commands. Tests showed credential and API key theft and data exfiltration. All three companies confirmed the issue and paid bug bounties.

Hancom unveils open-source PDF data extraction tool OpenDataLoader v2.0
Hancom unveiled OpenDataLoader PDF v2.0, an open-source PDF data extraction tool it said achieved top benchmark performance. The release combines AI and direct extraction in a hybrid engine and can be used for free in a local environment to avoid data leakage to external servers. It includes four free AI add-ons for OCR, table extraction, formula extraction and chart analysis. Hancom also published benchmark data and reproducible code on GitHub and switched the licence to Apache 2.0.
