Google adds automated workflow creation to vibe coding app Opal
Google has added an automated workflow creation feature to its vibe coding app Opal, TechCrunch reported on Feb. 24. Opal lets users develop mini apps with text prompts and use them to plan and execute tasks. The update uses the Gemini 3 Flash model to automatically choose tools, carry out tasks and plan next steps, requesting user input or offering options when needed. Opal first launched in the United States in July 2025 and later expanded to 15 countries.
