GRAC launches 2026 illegal game report reward program, pays up to 600,000 won a month
The Game Rating and Administration Committee said it held the first 2026 review of reports on illegal game content on March 12 to prevent user harm and improve enforcement against distribution and illegal currency exchange. It formed a review panel including National Police Agency officials and experts from related institutions. Reporters can file submissions with evidence through the committee’s website. Rewards can reach 500,000 won per case, capped at 600,000 won per month and 3,000,000 won per year.

Seven Korean game groups welcome Google\'s app market policy overhaul, urge early rollout
Seven South Korean game-related organisations welcomed Google’s plan to cut app market fees and allow external payments, and urged the company to implement the changes in Korea as soon as possible. The groups said lower in-app fees could improve developers’ profitability and be reinvested in new content and service quality. They also said expanded payment and distribution options could curb platform dominance, but criticised fee differences for new and existing members.

Com2uS closes \'Com:On\' game development contest after about 150 entries
Com2uS said on Thursday it has closed submissions for the second \'Com:On\' global game development contest. The event, co-hosted with the Game Culture Foundation, aims to discover creative developers and promising intellectual property with global competitiveness. About 150 original games for mobile and PC were submitted between Oct. 30 and Dec. 31. Com2uS plans two rounds of evaluation to select 4 winners and award 40 million won in total prize money.
