Samsung Electronics unveils immersive exhibition on design philosophy in Milan
Samsung Electronics will unveil an immersive exhibition at Milan Design Week 2026 exploring the relationship between technology and people. The company said it will present an exhibition titled “Design is an Act of Love” from April 20 local time, in a space run as the Samsung Design Open Lab. Samsung said the show examines the human side of technology through dialogue between concept designs and products. It will also hold a design talk with Dezeen on April 22.

Samsung holds top spot in Europe smartphone market as Apple, Honor gain share
Europe’s smartphone market stayed fiercely competitive despite tighter regulation and weaker demand, as major makers strengthened product lineups. Total 2025 shipments slipped 1 percent to 134.2 million units, but leading brands increased their shares. Samsung lifted shipments to 46.6 million and raised share to 35 percent. Apple shipped 36.9 million iPhones for a record 27 percent share, while Honor shipped 3.8 million units and entered the top five for the first time.

Samsung Electronics unveils special edition foldable phone for Milan Winter Olympics
Samsung Electronics is providing a special edition foldable phone to athletes competing in the 2026 Milan Cortina Winter Olympics and Paralympics. The company unveiled the Galaxy Z Flip7 Olympic Edition on Jan. 27 and said it will supply it to about 3,800 athletes from around 90 countries. The device includes event-themed design elements, on-device AI interpreting, and preloaded apps and services. Distribution starts on Jan. 30 at six Olympic villages.
