Korbit to pursue stablecoin-based payments business with Galaxia Moneytree
Korbit said on Thursday it will work with Galaxia Moneytree to pursue a stablecoin-based payments business. The companies will link Korbit\'s digital asset trading infrastructure with Galaxia Moneytree\'s Moneytree app to jointly expand digital assets into everyday payment use. The project aims to build a structure connecting top-ups, payments and settlement based on stablecoins, enabling users to top up Moneytree cash with digital assets held at Korbit.

Shinhan Investment signs MOU with NXT and seven fractional investment firms
Shinhan Investment & Securities said on Wednesday it signed an MOU with Nextrade and seven fractional investment firms as the Nextrade (NXT) consortium secured preliminary approval for an over-the-counter fractional investment exchange. The agreement aims to build a value chain covering issuance, distribution and settlement for a planned distribution market. The nine participating companies also plan joint reviews of business models, responses to legal and institutional changes, and joint promotion.

KOSDAQ nears 1,000 as digital asset-linked stocks surge
South Korea’s KOSDAQ is edging closer to the 1,000 mark, closing at 993.93 on strong buying in digital asset-related shares. Hecto Financial rose 30 percent to its daily limit, and Kakao Pay and NHN KCP also ended at limit-up levels. Other fintech and security stocks jumped more than 20 percent. The rally comes as the ruling party signals a strong drive to foster digital assets and remove related regulations.
