MSIT holds hearing on sixth national science and technology master plan

MSIT to hold briefing on 2027 national R&D budget, use AI to support review

South Korea\'s Ministry of Science and ICT will hold a five-day briefing in Sejong from May 11 to May 15 on the 2027 national research and development budget. The event allows 166 expert reviewers under the National Science and Technology Advisory Council to examine key government R&D programmes and provide opinions on appropriateness, need for support, budget size and efficiency. The ministry will also use a specialised AI service to support budget reviews.
