Samsung Display completes panel-integrated privacy display technology

Samsung Display said on Feb. 26 its smartphone OLED using panel-integrated privacy technology, Flex Magic Pixel, passed UL Solutions\' verification for privacy displays. UL Solutions measured brightness reduction while rotating panels tilted at 45 and 60 degrees. Side luminance was 3.5 percent at 45 degrees and 0.9 percent or less at 60 degrees. The company said the feature can be turned on or off at the pixel level.
