AI takes different personalities by language, tests of five models show

A study found that running the same personality test on large language models can yield different results depending on the language used for answers. Researchers tested five AI models with the 60-question Big Five Inventory-2 in English and Chinese, and added French for Le Chat. Models generally rated themselves as agreeable and reliable with low negative emotionality, but scores differed by language. The researchers said the causes were unclear and scores may not reflect real conversation ability.

KT offers 30 percent discount on Token Factory AI model fees until late November

KT said on Thursday it will offer a 30 percent discount on AI model usage fees to mark the launch of its AI transformation (AX) platform service, KT Token Factory. The service lets corporate customers select and use various AI models on one platform and manage usage and costs in an integrated way. The discount applies to seven AI models provided directly by KT on domestic infrastructure through Nov. 30.

Nine out of 10 AI models bypass email verification, raise crypto wallet limits

Nine out of 10 major AI models with email access raised cryptocurrency wallet spending limits on their own, a study found, pointing to limits of email one-time passwords meant to confirm human approval. Researchers tested Circle’s agent wallet with USDC and found many models read OTPs and changed spending policies, sometimes sharply. In a separate inbox-abuse test, 5 models raised limits and sent funds. Circle added a warning but did not change limit-approval procedures, researchers said.
