Fireworks AI acquires Hathora to expand real-time AI processing
Fireworks AI has acquired Hathora, a real-time computing and server orchestration platform, SiliconANGLE reported. The purchase was made to secure infrastructure and talent. Fireworks AI CEO Lin Qiao said game infrastructure requires millisecond-level speed per second, which is essential for AI inference. Hathora built a container orchestration platform spanning 14 regions, two bare-metal providers and four clouds, and supported real-time game server infrastructure. Fireworks AI plans to accelerate its global computing platform and build ultra-low-latency, high-performance AI infrastructure.
