Bitcoin faces pivotal week ahead of U.S. inflation data, $10 billion options expiry, battle to hold $60,000
Bitcoin faces a key week with the release of the United States\' May personal consumption expenditures (PCE) price index and the settlement of more than $10 billion in quarterly bitcoin options on Deribit. Bitcoin trades around $62,500 after staying in a $62,000 to $67,000 range this month. Investors are watching whether a higher PCE reading could weaken rate-cut expectations and increase volatility as hedging demand rises around expiry. Spot bitcoin ETFs have seen net outflows.
