Pro-Ripple figures are divided over why XRP remains weak even after its lawsuit with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission ended. Lawyer Bill Morgan said XRP fell 45 percent over 12 months and about 60 percent since the case concluded on Aug. 7, 2025, arguing the lawsuit can no longer be used as an excuse. Others say the five-year dispute left XRP at a disadvantage versus major cryptocurrencies.
