Post Office chief checks special election mail processing ahead of local elections

Park In-hwan (박인환), head of the Korea Post, visited the Seoul Mapo and Seodaemun post offices on May 24 to inspect on-site processing of election mail ahead of the ninth nationwide local elections on June 3. The Korea Post set May 12 to election day as a special election-mail period and shifted to an emergency work system. It expects to handle 32.8 million items, including election brochures and voting guidance notices.
