LG AI Research registers patent for AI to aid new materials and drug development
LG AI Research said on Monday it has completed patent registration for EXAONE Discovery, a core technology of its AI Co-Scientist that supports new materials and drug development. The company said the AI-based platform analyses multimodal data, including papers, patents, molecular structures and images, to find promising candidate substances at a much faster pace and cut development time. It said the patent protects the full process from data analysis to experiment design and new material prediction.
