Pompidou Center Hanwha starts ticket sales ahead of June opening
Pompidou Center Hanwha has launched its official website and begun selling tickets ahead of its opening on June 4 at the 63 Building in Seoul\'s Yeouido. Its opening exhibition, \"Cubists: Innovators of Vision,\" will run from June 4 to Oct. 4. Timed advance reservations are available from Thursday, with on-site purchases offered after opening. The venue also started recruiting membership subscribers with annual fees of 100,000 to 300,000 won.

South Korea privacy watchdog sanctions 3 firms, including Duo, for failing data security measures
South Korea\'s Personal Information Protection Commission held its seventh plenary meeting on April 22 and decided to sanction three companies for violating personal data protection rules. It imposed a total of 4.79 billion won in penalty surcharges and 17.4 million won in administrative fines, and ordered corrective measures and public disclosure. The sanctioned firms were KS Korea Employment Information, Duo Information and Geumneung Park Cemetery, which suffered data leaks after inadequate security and processed resident registration numbers without legal grounds.

Cisco to buy AI observability firm Galileo, expand AI agent security
Cisco will acquire AI observability startup Galileo Technologies, SiliconANGLE reported on Thursday. The purchase price was not disclosed and the deal is expected to close within the fourth quarter. Galileo develops tools to observe and evaluate AI models, including a platform that monitors multi-agent systems in real time and applies guardrails to ensure accuracy. Galileo’s solutions are set to be integrated into Cisco’s Splunk observability platform.
