Korea Premium Week 2026 to bring global investors together

South Korea\'s financial authorities and the Korea Exchange will hold Korea Premium Week 2026 from Sept. 28 to Oct. 16, a three-week combined investor relations and conference event. Forty-two institutions and 55 listed companies will take part. The programme includes discussions on capital and foreign exchange market reforms, corporate governance and market infrastructure, as well as meetings between global institutional investors and major Korean companies. Events for individual investors and seminars on growth markets are also planned.

Nvidia unveils Jetson Orin Nano 2 robotics computer, boosting edge AI adoption

Nvidia on Aug. 25 unveiled the Jetson Orin Nano 2, a low-cost edge AI computer for robotics. The company said it is designed to run AI and frontier-class models inside robots and drones. Performance doubles from the prior generation, with 8 gigabytes of memory and an 8-core CPU, while power consumption falls 40 percent in 15-watt mode. Nvidia said several companies are working to apply it to smart robotics.

Kiwoom Securities analysis finds 20s-30s favor SK Hynix, 40s-50s Samsung Electronics

Kiwoom Securities said its retail client base topped 9.05 million as of end-July, up about 920,000, or 11 percent, from a year earlier. It said growth among high-net-worth clients was steeper, with clients holding 1 billion won or more in deposited assets up 80.7 percent and those with 3 billion won or more up about 90 percent. Top holdings shifted toward large-cap semiconductor and auto stocks including Samsung Electronics, SK Hynix and Hyundai Motor, with preferences varying by age.
