Russia digital ruble tops 220,000 accounts in first month
The number of digital ruble accounts opened at Russia’s central bank exceeded 220,000 in the first month after launch, far above an initial official estimate of about 60,000, according to reports. Deputy Governor Zulfiya Kahrumanova said the figure topped 220,000 within a month.
