2 million XRP stolen in two hours: How Descent hack was possible
A total of 1,552 users of cryptocurrency wallet service Descent’s app wallet suffered a large-scale hack in which 2,009,321 XRP was stolen, with the attacker operating in an automated way for about two hours. Some funds were moved to exchanges and a cross-chain bridge. Descent urged users to transfer assets to another wallet and said no impact has been confirmed from the company’s hardware wallet so far. The route of private-key exposure has not been identified.

Segway unveils MUXI Pro cargo e-bike with automatic shifting and regenerative braking
Segway has introduced a small cargo electric bicycle with a top assisted speed of about 45 kph and automatic shifting, targeting the utility e-bike market for urban commuting and carrying people and cargo. The MUXI Pro uses a nine-speed electronic drivetrain, a 750-watt rear hub motor and a 716Wh battery, with up to about 117 km of range. It adds regenerative braking, hill descent control and connected features, and is priced at $1,999.99.

SpaceX burns up 260 Starlink satellites over six months, keeps 40,000-satellite ambition
SpaceX deorbited and disposed of 260 Starlink satellites by controlled re-entry from December 2025 to May 2026, an FCC filing showed. Of those, 176 were first-generation satellites and the rest were second-generation, while 349 satellites stopped operating and are due to be disposed of in coming days or months. Researchers have raised concerns about atmospheric impacts from burn-ups as U.S. regulators consider environmental review policies. SpaceX plans up to 42,000 satellites in low Earth orbit.
