BYD to expand 2026 new EV lineup with premium sedan and SUV launches
Chinese electric vehicle maker BYD plans to launch a wave of new flagship electric cars in early 2026, including sedans and SUVs, to step up its push into the premium EV market. The lineup spans top-end models in its Ocean series and flagship vehicles under its Dynasty sub-brand. BYD is expected to release the Seal08 sedan and Sealion08 SUV in the first quarter, and the Tang9 SUV and Han9 sedan in the first half.
