CJ Olive Young 2024 sales hit 5.83 trillion won, up 22%

CJ Olive Young posted 2024 sales of 5.83 trillion won on a standalone basis, up 21.8% from a year earlier, a regulatory filing showed. Operating profit rose 22.5% to 744.7 billion won and net profit gained 15.8% to 554.7 billion won. The company said a surge in demand from foreign tourists helped lift results, with foreign customers accounting for 28% of offline sales.

SK Hynix to cancel 12.24 trillion won of treasury shares as annual operating profit tops 47 trillion won

SK Hynix will cancel treasury shares worth 12.24 trillion won, after reporting its highest-ever annual results. The company decided to cancel 15.3 million common shares on Feb. 9, equivalent to about 2.1 percent of total outstanding shares. In 2025, revenue rose 46.8 percent to 97.15 trillion won and operating profit jumped 101.2 percent to 47.21 trillion won. It said it is also reviewing measures such as a U.S. listing.
