CJ Olive Young posted 5.83 trillion won in sales last year. That marked 22% growth from a year earlier.

A CJ business report filed on the Financial Supervisory Service's DART system on March 18 showed CJ Olive Young recorded standalone sales of 5.83 trillion won last year. The figure was up 21.8% from the previous year. Operating profit rose 22.5% to 744.7 billion won. Net profit increased 15.8% to 554.7 billion won.

CJ Olive Young's sales have risen every year since reaching 2 trillion won in 2021. Sales were 2.78 trillion won in 2022, 3.86 trillion won in 2023 and 4.79 trillion won in 2024, before reaching 5.83 trillion won last year.

CJ Olive Young sees a sharp rise in demand from foreign tourists as a key driver of earnings growth. The company said foreign visitors' purchases in South Korea from January to November last year totalled 1 trillion won. Sales from foreign customers accounted for 28% of total offline sales. It also said it viewed the expansion of its omnichannel strategy, including boosting its Today Dream service, as driving sales.

A CJ Olive Young official said K-beauty gained popularity, resulting in strong results across both online and offline channels. The official said the company will support the global expansion of K-beauty led by small and indie brands this year, based on expanding into offline operations in the United States and boosting its global mall.
